My Philosophy

Page 2

Each person and their difficulties are unique. There is no single therapeutic model or method that is effective to treat everyone. Clarifying the problem the problem that brought people to therapy leads to the development the way to proceed with therapy. The treatment options are discussed and how therapy will proceed is collaborative process between the client and myself. There is also an ongoing assessment process to make sure the source of distress is being addressed and evaluate progress towards the chosen stated treatment goals.

As the problems are resolved there will be a discussion as to how to proceed. Often it is time to end therapy. Other times, additional issues arise that you may want to work on. Even though therapy has ended, you are always welcome to return. “My door is always open.”
